It stretches between Piedmont and Lombardy, a short distance from Milan and the Swiss border.

Close to the lake, this charming 75 m² apartment with a 160 m² private garden can accommodate 2 adults and 1 baby or child.

La Petite Dame-Lake Maggiore is part of an elegant, historical villa, recently completely renovated, and it is located on the mezzanine floor.

It offers an independent pedestrian entrance with an adjacent private parking and a cozy garden, available for your exclusive use. Directly from the garden, through an external staircase with few steps, you will have access to your home.

You will enter into the bright living room furnished with a comfortable and large sofa, a big dining table, that can be used as a work station as well, a 40" smart TV and an open kitchen equipped with all the necessary utensils.

Your bedroom is furnished with a double bed and an armchair that can be converted into a comfortable single bed to possibly accommodate a third guest (child) or it is possible to have a cot/small bed for babies.

From the bedroom you enter the walk-in closet, equipped with a chest of drawers, two shelves, coat hangers and also a small safe.

Your private bathroom, accessible from your bedroom, has a shower, a bidet and a large, bright window. The bathroom still retains part of the original wooden ceiling, perfectly preserved and decorated with an original wrought-iron lamp.

Enjoy the view of the Petite Dame's private garden, of the mountains and of the Botanical Gardens of Villa Taranto from your covered terrace, furnished with a table and chairs, a perfect place to relax outdoors and enjoy an aperitif or a romantic dinner at sunset.

Relax in the cozy garden, equipped with sun loungers, garden chairs and sun umbrella, ideal for spending pleasant moments of outdoor relaxation. Prepare delicious grills with the barbecue and enjoy them on the covered terrace.

A BIT OF HISTORY

La Petite Dame is part of a historical villa which was originally the manor house of Antonio Cappelletto, the first estate administrator of the adjacent and bordering Botanical Gardens of Villa Taranto.

It was also the place where the past Prime Minister Giulio Andreotti, a personal friend of the estate administrator of the Botanical Gardens, used to come to relax and recharge. For this reason, a bedroom and a bathroom in the villa were always reserved exclusively for the Prime Minister, with windows overlooking right La Petite Dame private garden!

Located only 100 m from the lake and bordering the world-famous Botanical Gardens of Villa Taranto, La Petite Dame is an oasis of tranquility surrounded by greenery, close to services, restaurants, shops and tourist attractions.

The Botanical Gardens of Villa Taranto, with entrance 50 m away, are directly facing and bordering La Petite Dame and they are worth a walk along the trails to admire rare botanical species and natural beauties.

100 m away there is also a safe and panoramic cycle/pedestrian route that runs along the lake and connects La Petite Dame to Villa Giulia, to the restaurants, bars and beaches of Pallanza and Suna, and to Feriolo.

Only one minute walk away there is also the embarkation point for wonderful and unforgettable lake cruises to the Borromean Islands and to other tourist locations such as Stresa and Baveno, and only two minutes drive away there is the ferry boarding to the Lombard shore of Lake Maggiore from where it is even possible to paraglide.

In addition to relaxing walks or bike rides on the cycle/pedestrian route that runs along the lake or through meadows and woods, there is the possibility of practicing water activities, canoeing, renting a boat, playing golf or tennis, horse-riding, mountaineering and hiking in the close-by mountains, having fun at the adventure park or with the zipline, as well as enjoying excellent gourmet dishes accompanied by quality wines!

Bars, restaurants, supermarkets and shops are easily reachable on foot or within a very short driving distance.
